SOMEWHERE has been selected for two major film festivals:: The Fest- New Directors/ Film Festivals to be held in Portugal in June and the Minkino Film Week in Indonesia in September of this year.
The Fest - New Directors/ New Films Festival offers a great lineup of activities for both the audience and professionals, showing the best cutting-edge films from new filmmakers with more than 200 films screened; as well as films for young audiences; showcases and concerts of artists related to film with more than 18 artists, Q&A’s with the creatives, masterclasses, workshops, debates and much more.
Somewhere was among 200 short films selected from 4,000 submission and will form part of the FESTinha Section, in one of two Non Competitive programs, which this year is dedicated to environmental cinema.
Filfla Studio makes a return to the Minikino Film Week after it was part of an out of competition Maltese programme with Mr Teddy is Angry in 2021
This time it was among 181 films selected from 1111 submission to take part in its competition.
SOMEWHERE - has recently won Best Animation at the French Riviera Film Festival. The animated short is supported by Screen Malta.
